Welcome — I’m Alanna Jorde, a senior communications specialist focused on high-stakes humanitarian and development communication. I translate complex operational and policy realities into clear, credible and ethically grounded messaging for senior leadership, partners, donors and the public.
With more than 30 years of experience in editorial management, strategic communication and multi-stakeholder content production across four continents and Oceania, I develop reports, publications and multimedia products that strengthen institutional credibility, support informed decision-making and engage diverse audiences.
Since 2005, I have worked with United Nations agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, research institutions and Cambodia’s print media sector. I began my career in Canada as an award-winning journalist, shaping the commitment to clarity, fairness and thoughtful storytelling that continues to guide my practice today.
